#it’s like the last day of shore leave #and kirk and spock are just relaxing and all of a sudden kirk is like ”shit! we forgot to get something for the kids!” #and spock is all ”captain you don’t have to get presents for the crew every time - ” #and kirk just interrupts with ”CHEKOV’S FACE.” #and spock considers this and then wordlessly gets up and heads in the direction of the souvenir stand
It’s logic, really.
It’s sort of weird for me to look at tumblr and see cat gifs and late night questions.
All I can think about is how a tornado that was over 2 miles high hit just East of here. How streets I drove on are surrounded by nothing now. This tornado hit the movie theatre I go to, it hit a hospital, it hit THREE schools, and it LEVELED my friend’s house. While her sister and dog were inside. Somehow, they were pulled out okay, but many others were not so lucky.
I think our death toll is in the 50s right and I think about half of that number were kids.
It’s just hard to focus on cat gifs and stuff when all this is almost literally on my doorstep. I don’t think people that just watch Stormchasers on TV can really get it.
I just can’t even put into words what I’m feeling right now.
But I need to go to bed, because I still have work tomorrow.

Guys tornadoes are really fucking scary. I almost lost my little brother today. My hometown has unconfirmed devastating damage.Tornadoes are terrifying.
