Bleh. It’s been a pretty terrible week here at home. And there’s still so much that needs to be done. It doesn’t really seem like I’m going to a con next weekend at all. I hope things get better and my mood improves.

Seriously, show this to anyone that ever says the words Keystone XL as if it were some sort of magic bullet that would save the economy. It isn’t even a complicated environmental issue, it clearly cuts through something that if anything were to go wrong would absolutely FUCK this country.

I actually protested this while attending college in Kansas. A group of concerned adults and children (including several professors at my college and their kids) marched (and biked) across town, ending at the brand new wind turbine we have on campus. Having graduated I have moved from Kansas back to Oklahoma where I still face the same problem. THIS PIPELINE IS NOTHING BUT BAD NEWS. Not just for the states or cities it passes through, but for everyone. Please, PLEASE just take a moment to look at this, consider, and share. Thank you.
